Hypnosis & Magic

On the Stage and in the Streets

Are you looking for a night of mind-bending family fun?

Have you thought about a stage hypnosis show?

Having used Hypnosis within a coaching framework for over 6 years (and having taught hypnosis up to train-the-trainer level), I’ve taken those same skills and expertise, and used them to craft entertaining, fun and safe hypnosis shows both for the stage and on the streets.

The result is HypnoTainment – a fun show which is always family-friendly, and always very entertaining. As a bonus, not only do I use hypnosis (and we’re not talking the long 30 minutes to get someone into a trance style, we are talking very rapid hypnosis, getting the participants into trance rapidly!), I also bring magic to the show, especially card magic (I was fortunate enough to be able to have trained under the late, great Paul Daniels himself) which can be a wonderful pre-show ice-breaker (ideal for dinners – wandering around the tables doing close-up card tricks is a great way to kick things off).

I love to create memorable, amazing nights of entertainment and I’d love to put one on for you!

Acting

OK, we are not talking Tony Award-winning performances. At least, not yet!
It had long been an ambition and desire of mine to act; indeed, when I was young I wanted to be an actor. Sadly, being painfully shy at the time, that was never on the cards. However, after transforming his own deepest fears, using the same tools and techniques that he uses with clients, he has had the confidence to occasionally indulge in a spot of amateur dramatics, including even a spot of dancing and solo singing.

Productions so far have been –

  • Villager / Chorus, Aladdin, London, 2008
  • Egeus / Peter Quince, Bitesized Midsummer Night’s Dream, Reading, 2010.
  • Colonel von Strohm, ‘Allo ‘Allo, Reading, 2011.
  • Stinkwort, Snow White & The 7 Dwarfs, Reading, 2012.
  • Queen of Hearts, Alice in Wonderland, Hopeman, 2017

Making Music

This has always been a hobby, probably always will be. In the older day, I had quite the collection of synthesisers – real, physical beasts which made noise! Nowadays, I have replaced them all with software, and a single keyboard used to control them. But there is a practical application to all this – I write and record most of the music I use in my shows, events and products. Plus I dabble a bit as well, as you can see from the YouTube clips and SoundCloud collection here.
